Market Street Reconstruction 2009 & Development Incentives in Place

The project rehabilitated Market St. from Garland to Francis avenues; and paved the following dirt streets, Rowan, Sanson, Everett, and Wabash avenues from Market St. east to the railroad right-of-way. The project included a full depth curb-to-curb rehabilitation of Market Street from Garland to Francis avenues including replacing existing curbs and sidewalks; and paving Rowan, Sanson, Everett, and Wabash avenues from Market St. east to the railroad right-of-way; and installation of pedestrian lighting and trees from Heroy Avenue to Columbia Avenue. Infrastructure, water, sewer, sidewalks, trees are now in place incentifying this commercial district for commercial rehab and development projects - please contact:
